Gili Trawangan – Gili Meno – Gili Air

Lombok is famous with their little islands called Gili. 3 famous Gili in Lombok is located on the west side of Lombok Beach. They are Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air. Every Gili island that was mentioned is magnificent and dazzling because they have white sand, sea water is very clear, and beautiful scenery. There are no vehicles in this island to prevent the air to be polluted and noise all around the island.

Gili Air located near Lombok Island, beach with the white sand, also clean, and sea water that very clear. There is a fabulous underwater beauty accompanied by colorful fish, seahorses, and turtles. 5 famous diving locations in Gili Air are Air wall, Air Slope, Frog fish point, Segaluh, and Malang Reef.

Gili Meno surrounded by white sand beach. The difference between other gili is Gili Meno has lake with salt water on the west side of the island, and then there is a bird park so customers can see many tropical birds species. Other than that there is a breeding place for green turtles. Gili Meno Walls is one of the interesting location because customers can see fishes and sea animals in shallow waters.

The advantage of this island is customer can watch beautiful sunrise with the view of Rinjani Mountain in Lombok Island. Customers can also enjoy a great sunset with the view of Agung mountain in Bali Bali Island Gili Trawangan has a traditional martial art called Presean or Stick fighting, this show often occurred in the traditional market Gili Trawangan.

Gili Trawangan is the biggest little island between Gili meno and Gili Air. Gili Trawangan is located on the northwest side of Lombok. Gili Trawangan has a quiet and clean atmosphere, at night there are taverns and café on the beach also live music. It’s not different with Bali which are in Kuta Beach and Seminyak Beach. Transportation on this island are bicycle and cidomo (A simple horse drawn carriage). Customers at least need 2 hours to fully explore this island with bicycle.

Di Lombok sangat terkenal untuk sebutan pulau-pulau kecilnya yaitu Gili. Tiga Pulau Gili yang terkenal di Lombok berada di kawasan Pantai Barat Lombok, yaitu Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno dan Gili Air, tiap pulau Gili tersebut sangat indah dan menawan karena memiliki pantai pasir putih, air laut yang sangat jernih dan pemandangan yang menakjubkan. Tidak ada kendaraan bermotor di ketiga pulau ini untuk menjaga kebersihan dari polusi udara dan kebisingan di sekitar pulau.

Gili Air terletak dekat dengan Pulau Lombok. Lokasi pantai yang berpasir putih, bersih dan air laut yang sangat jernih di Gili Air memiliki keindahan bawah laut yang menakjubkan dengan ditemani ikan warna warni, kuda laut dan penyu. 5 lokasi menyelam yang terkenal di Gili Air adalah Air Wall, Air Slope, Frog fish Point,Segaluh dan Malang Reef.

Gili Meno dikelilingi pantai pasir putih. Perbedaan dari Gili ini adalah terdapat danau asin di sisi barat pulau, kemudian terdapat taman burung untuk melihat berbagai spesies burung tropis. Selain itu terdapat penangkaran penyu hijau. Satu lokasi yang menarik adalah Gili Meno Walls, sebuah tempat hewan-hewan laut dan ikan dengan ramah berenang di air yang dangkal.

Kelebihan dari Gili Trawangan yaitu pengunjung dapat melihat matahari terbit (sunrise) dengan pemandangan Gunung Rinjani yang ada di Pulau Lombok. Menikmati matahari terbenam (sunset) dengan pemandangan Gunung Agung di Pulau Bali. Gili Trawangan memiliki kesenian bela diri tradisional yang disebut presean atau stick fighting, biasanya pertunjukan seni tersebut berada disekitar pasar seni Gili Trawangan.

Gili Trawangan pulau terbesar dari ketiga pulau kecil atau gili yang terdapat di sebelah barat laut Lombok. Suasana di pulau ini tenang dan bersih, di malam hari banyak kedai atau cafe dipinggir pantai dengan live music yang tidak jauh berbeda seperti di Pulau Bali yaitu Pantai Kuta dan Pantai Seminyak. Transportasi yang digunakan di pulau ini adalah sepeda dan cidomo (kereta kuda sederhana), untuk mengelilingi pulau ini membutuhkan waktu kurang lebih 2 jam dengan menggunakan sepeda.

Lombok is located in West Nusa Tenggara, an interesting island to visit and many other beautiful small islands or small islands in Lombok called Gili. Foreign tourists call Lombok as “the second Bali”. In Lombok there is a small temple located still in the area of Senggigi Beach called Batu Bolong Temple. Given the name Batu Bolong Temple because this temple is located on a coral that has a hole in the middle. This temple has an impression for Hindus to worship with the sound of waves pounding around the beach.

There are 2 temples on this coral, a temple located under a tree called Ratu Gede Mas Mecaling Temple. The other temple is located on top of a stone which is the main temple and is often called Batu Bolong Temple. Similar to Temples in Bali, visiting this temple should wear yellow cloth while in the temple to honor the temple as a place of sacred worship of Hindus. Several sculptures seen around the temple include Subali Statue, Sugriwa Statue, Rama Statue, Laksmana Statue and Dragon Statue.

Kuta Beach is not only in Bali, but in Lombok there is also a beautiful Kuta Beach. This beautiful beach has a stretch of clean sand also white. The sand is smooth like pepper, so this beach is also known as the Merica Beach. The wavy coastline with corals offers romantic and stunning scenery.

Aan Cape Beach, home of the Princess Mandalika. Aan Cape or Tanjung Aan is in one coastline with Kuta Beach. This beach directly facing the Indian Ocean and has a coastline of approximately 2 Miles. Aan Cape Beach is surrounded by several hills and tourist can easily hike the surrounding hills, so it will look more exotic viewing the scenery around the Aan Cape.

Central Lombok region in the south have many beautiful beaches, clean and still natural. One of them is Selong Belanak Beach which has the form of a semi-circle beach or like a horseshoe, as part of Selong Belanak Bay, this beach has an edge with a length of about 1 Mile and facing directly to the Indian Ocean. On top of that, the white sandy beach with a width of about 10 meters, calm waves and shallow sea.

Foreign tourists call Selong Belanak Beach similar to Hawaii Beach because of its natural shape and also the stalls on the edge of the beach that is still very traditional using thatch and bamboo.

Lombok terletak di Nusa Tenggara Barat, sebuah pulau yang menarik untuk dikunjungi dan banyak pulau-pulau kecil lain yang indah atau pulau-pulau kecil di Lombok disebut Gili. Turis mancanegara menyebut Lombok sebagai Bali kedua. Selain gili, pantai-pantai yang indah, air terjun yang menakjubkan dan tanjung yang ada di Lombok menjadi daya tarik di pulau ini adalah Gunung Rinjani yang merupakan gunung tertinggi nomor 3 di Indonesia.

Pantai Senggigi masih terasa alami dan bersih dengan air laut yang berwarna biru. Suasana pantai ini disambut oleh lembutnya angin semilir yang menenangkan. Pengunjung juga dapat memancing di pinggir pantai yang berbatu. Serta terumbu karang yang menjulang ketengah menyebabkan ombak besarnya pecah di tengah.

Bukit Malimbu sebagai dataran tinggi terusan dari Pantai Senggigi. Dari atas bukit hamparan pasir putih yang luas dan melihat pemandangan yang mempesona dengan air laut yang biru. Dari ketinggian bukit ini terlihat jelas 3 gili yaitu Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno dan Gili Air.

Di Lombok terdapat sebuah pura kecil yang letaknya masih berada di kawasan wisata Pantai Senggigi yaitu Pura Batu Bolong. Diberikan nama Pura Batu Bolong karena pura ini terletak di atas sebuah karang yang memiliki lubang atau bolong di bagian tengahnya. Pura ini memiliki kesan bagi umat Hindu untuk beribadah dengan suara debur ombak di sekitar pantai.

Terdapat 2 buah pura diatas batu karang ini, satu pura yang letaknya di bawah pohon bernama Pura Ratu Gede Mas Mecaling. Satu pura yang lainnya terletak di atas batu bolong yang merupakan pura utama dan sering disebut Pura Batu Bolong. Sama seperti pura-pura di Bali, mengunjungi pura ini harus memakai kain kuning selama berada dalam pura untuk menghormati pura sebagai tempat peribadatan suci umat Hindu. Beberapa patung terlihat disekitar pura antara lain Patung Subali, Patung Sugriwa, Patung Rama, Patung Laksmana dan Patung Naga.

Pantai Kuta tidak hanya ada di Pulau Bali, Tetapi di Pulau Lombok juga terdapat Pantai Kuta yang indah. Pantai yang indah ini memiliki hamparan pasir yang bersih dan putih. Pasir yang halus seperti merica, sehingga pantai ini juga dikenal dengan sebutan Pantai Merica. Garis pantai yang bergelombang dengan karang menyuguhkan pemandangan yang romantis dan menakjubkan.

Pantai Tanjung Aan, tempat asal Sang Puteri Mandalika. Tanjung Aan masih berada dalam satu garis pantai dengan Pantai Kuta. Pantai ini langsung berhadapan dengan Samudera Hindia dan memiliki garis pantai sepanjang kurang lebih 2 Kilometer. Pantai Tanjung Aan ini dikelilingi oleh beberapa bukit dan dengan mudah untuk menaiki bukit-bukit disekitarnya, maka akan terlihat semakin eksotis melihat pemandangan di sekitar tanjung Aan.

Kawasan Lombok Tengah di selatan memilki banyak pantai yang indah, bersih dan masih alami. Salah satunya adalah Pantai Selong Belanak yang memiliki bentuk pantai setengah lingkaran atau seperti tapal kuda, Sebagai bagian dari Teluk Selong Belanak, pantai ini memiliki tepi dengan panjang sekitar 1 Kilometer dan berhadapan langsung dengan Samudra Hindia. Selain itui bibir pantai berpasir putih dengan lebar sekitar 10 meter, ombak yang tenang dan lautnya yang dangkal.

Geographically, Bali Island has entered the territory of Nusa Tenggara. There are two temples in Tanah Lot that is located on the coral of Dang Kahyangan temple or Sea temple to worship the gods of the sea guard. Then Tanah Lot Temple or Tanah Lot Luhur Temple as a holy place of Hindu religion. Tanah Lot Beach has big waves, if the sea water is receding we can approach the coral that contain Luhur Temple and Sea Temple.

To the west of the Tanah lot there is Batu Bolong Temple which has the uniqueness of coral shape just standing on the edge of the sea. We can approach it to see the temple up close and stand right on this perforated coral.

In Bedugul there is the second largest lake on the Bali Island called Beratan Lake. Beratan Lake lies 1250 meters above sea level. highlands in the tourist area in Bedugul has a cool air and temperature between 17 ° - 25 ° Celsius. Decorated with hills surrounding this lake and on the shores of the lake there is a temple known as Ulun Danu temple.

In front of Ulun Danu Temple there is a sarcophagus and stone board, the stone comes from the megalithic age of about 500 BC. Beside Lake Beratan, there are twin lakes known as Buyan Lake and Tamblingan Lake which still includes in the tourism area of Bedugul.

The view of this beach is very beautiful with its blue-green water, its fine white sand and the sound of the waves crashing onto the shore make this place as a recreational place to swim and play water.

Padang-Padang Beach began to be famous around 1996 since Michael Learns to Rock musical group took the filming location of one of his video clips. This beach is more famous through the movie 'Eat, Pray, Love' starring Hollywood actress Julia Roberts to shoot the movie here.

Uluwatu Temple is located at an altitude of about 100 meters above sea level with steep cliffs and high cliffs leading to the sea. Temple of Hindu believer as a buffer of the 9 points of the compass. In 1550 Uluwatu Temple was used as a place of worshiping a holy priest who ended his holy journey here and called Ngeluhur, so until now it is called Uluwatu Luhur Temple.

One of the beautiful things in Luhur Uluwatu Temple people can see the vastness of the Indian Ocean, then with the waves that hit the cliff foot and enjoy the view at sunset. Enjoying the sunset can also be done simultaneously by seeing the performance of drama arts called “Tari Kecak”. Another term of “Tari Kecak”(Kecak Dance) is "Cak" dance or fire dance. “Tari Kecak”(Kecak Dance) illustrates the role art of "Puterangan puppet" Rama Shinta. The uniqueness of Kecak Dance is a fusion of art from the sound of the mouth or shouts like "cak cak to cak cak" so this dance is called “Tari Kecak” (Kecak Dance).

A long time ago Taman Ayun Temple belongs to the Kingdom of Mengwi, until this day Taman Ayun Temple is a place to pray to god for Hindu people. According to Astadewata, the special god that is adored in this temple is a god in its manifestation of Lord Vishnu and at the top of Mount Mangu lies his palace. This temple is Paibon Temple or temple to worship Ancestors of Prati Sentana / heirs of the Kingdom of Mengwi.

Kuta Beach Bali has been known from the past since the 1970's by foreign tourists. Throughout this beach sloping and up to Legian Beach with a wave that is not very big. The main attraction of Lovina Beach is the activity of seeing dolphins in the middle of the sea. To be able to see the dolphin’s tourist must leave for the sea before sunrise. This monument is a form for Bali tourism in Indonesia with a very famous statue. The statue of Lord Vishnu in Hinduism religion is the God of the keeper riding a Garuda. Taken from the story of the Garuda figures about the sense of devotion and sacrifice of the Garuda to save his mother from slavery that finally protected by Lord Vishnu. The statue is made of a mixture of copper and steel with a height of about 75 meters and a width of about 60 meters.

Secara geografis, Pulau Bali sudah masuk wilayah Nusa Tenggara. Terletak diantara Pulau Jawa dan Lombok yang mayoritas penduduk Bali adalah beragama Hindu, sedangkan di dunia terkenal sebagai pariwisata bahari, seni dan budaya. Bagi turis asing, Bali adalah Hawaii kedua yang berada di garis khatulistiwa ini.

Tanah Lot terdapat dua Pura yang terletak di atas batu karang besar yaitu Pura Dang Kahyangan atau Pura Laut sebagai pemujaan dewa-dewa penjaga laut. Kemudian Pura Tanah Lot atau Pura Luhur Tanah Lot sebagai tempat suci agama Hindu. Pantai Tanah Lot memiliki ombak yang besar, jika air laut sedang surut kita bisa mendekati karang yang terdapat Pura Luhur dan Pura Laut tersebut.

Di sebelah barat Tanah lot terdapat Pura Batu Bolong yang memiliki keunikan bentuk karangnya bolong tepat berdiri di tepi laut. Kita bisa mendekati dan menuju untuk melihat pura dari dekat dan berdiri tepat di atas karang bolong ini.

Di Bedugul terdapat danau terbesar kedua di Pulau Bali yaitu Danau Bratan/Beratan. Danau Beratan terletak diketingian 1250 meter di atas permukaan laut. dataran tinggi di kawasan wisata Bedugul memiliki udara yang sejuk dan suhu 17° – 25° celcius. Dihiasi bukit yang mengelilingi danau ini dan di tepi danau terdapat sebuah Pura yang dikenal Pura Ulun Danu.

Di depan Pura Ulun Danu terdapat sebuah sarkopagus dan papan batu, batu tersebut berasal dari zaman megalitik yang berumur sekitar 500 tahun SM. Selain Danau Beratan, terdapat danau kembar yaitu Danau Buyan dan Danau Tamblingan yang masih termasuk kawasan wisata Bedugul.

Selain binatang langka penyu, pulau ini juga melakukan pemeliharaan binatang lain seperti burung, kelelawar, ular dan berbagai macam binatang jinak lainnya. Selama perjalanan menuju Pulau Penyu dari Tanjung Benoa dengan menaiki perahu yang dibawahnya ada kaca (glass bottom boat) kita bisa melihat bawah laut yaitu ikan berwarna warni dan karang laut.

Penyu termasuk binatang yang langka keberadaannya di dunia. Tanjung Benoa Bali terdapat sebuah tempat penangkaran penyu yang berlokasi di Pulau Penyu (Turtle Island). Di pulau ini kita dapat melihat telur penyu yang dikeram, penyu kecil, penyu remaja sampai dengan penyu dewasa yang siap menjadi induk. Berbagai macam jenis penyu yang ada di Pulau Penyu ini.

Pantai Padang-padang tempat yang sangat unik, masuk pantai melewati sebuah gua yang berada tepat di bawah tebing batu dan pura tempat pemujaan Dewa Baruna atau Dewa Laut. Pemandangan Pantai ini sangat indah dengan airnya yang jernih berwarna biru kehijauan, pasir putihnya yang halus dan suara gemuruh ombak memecah pantai membuat tempat ini sebagai tempat rekreasi berenang dan bermain air.

Awal Pantai Padang-padang mulai terkenal sekitar tahun 1996-an sejak grup musik Michael Learns To Rock mengambil lokasi syuting disalah satu video klipnya. Pantai ini makin terkenal lewat film ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ yang dibintangi aktris Hollywood yaitu Julia Roberts untuk syuting disini.

Pura Uluwatu berada pada ketinggian sekitar 100 meter dari atas permukaan laut dengan tebing batu karang yang terjal dan tinggi mengarah ke laut. Pura kepercayaan umat Hindu ini sebagai penyangga dari 9 mata angin. Pada tahun 1550 Pura Uluwatu dipakai sebagai tempat memuja pendeta suci yang mengakhiri perjalanan sucinya disini dan dinamakan Ngeluhur, sehingga sampai sekarang disebut menjadi Pura Luhur Uluwatu.

Indahnya berwisata ke Pura Luhur Uluwatu dapat melihat luasnya Samudra India, kemudian dengan ombak yang menghantam kaki tebing dan menikmati pemandangan saat matahari terbenam. Menikmati sunset juga bisa dilakukan bersamaan dengan melihat pertunjukan sendratari seni drama yaitu Tari Kecak. Sebutan lain Tari Kecak adalah tari “Cak” atau tari api (Fire Dance). Tari Kecak menggambarkan seni peran dari “Tokoh Pewayangan” Rama Sinta. Keunikan Tari Kecak yaitu perpaduan seni dari suara dari mulut atau teriakan seperti “cak cak ke cak cak” sehingga tari ini disebut tari kecak.

Sawah Terasering Tegalalang yang terletak di Ubud adalah salah satu tempat wisata di Bali dengan hamparan sawah yang berundak-undak menjadikan terasering di sini sangat unik. Sawah yang tertata rapih dengan warna hijau di kelilingi pepohonan yang udara disekitar menjadi sejuk tidak kalah dengan Sawah Terasering Jatiluwih.

Di kawasan resort Nusa Dua Bali memiliki tiga pantai yang jaraknya sangat berdekatan dengan pantai lain yaitu, pantai Nusa Dua, Pantai Geger dan Pantai Water Blow. Pantai Nusa Dua sangat bersih dan ombak pantai yang tenang untuk bermain air, di belakang pantai ini beberapa hotel kelas bintang 5 yang ada di kawasan Nusa Dua. Pantai Geger tidak kalah menarik, pantai yang tidak ramai, bersih dan pasir putih dengan suasana yang hening dilengkapi dengan lekuk karang di pinggir pantai.

Pantai Water Blow tidak jauh dari Pantai Nusa Dua, pantai yang dengan bentuk karang-karang tajam yang mengarah ke laut. Dinamakan Pantai Water Blow karena di pantai ini terdapat celah karang yang jika ombak mengahantam karang maka air laut akan naik menyembur ke atas.

Dahulu kala Pura Taman Ayun milik Kerajaan Mengwi, hingga saat ini Pura Taman Ayun sebagai tempat untuk berdoa umat beragama Hindu kepada dewa. Menurut Astadewata, Tuhan khusus yang dipuja di Pura ini adalah Tuhan dalam manifestasinya sebagai Tuhan Wisnu dan di puncak gunung Mangu terletak istananya. Pura ini adalah Pura Paibon atau Pura untuk memuja Leluhur dari Prati Sentana / ahli waris dari Kerajaan Mengwi.

Pantai Kuta Bali sudah dikenal dari dahulu semenjak tahun 1970an oleh wisatawan mancanegara. Sepanjang bibir pantai ini landai dan sampai ke Pantai Legian dengan ombak yang tidak besar. Dibelakang Pantai Kuta banyak sekali hotel mewah dan cafe sepanjang Jalan Raya Kuta. Yang membuat romantis pantai ini adalah ketika menikmati senja di sore hari setelah matahari terbenam, maka sinar matahari akan memancar ke langit dan berubah menjadi warna Violet, kemudian dihiasi lampu-lampu di pinggir jalan raya dan bandara I Gusti Ngurah Rai ketika pesawat mendarat atau terbang.

Sebelum Pantai Pandawa terkenal oleh wisatawan, pantai ini menjadi favorit turis asing sehingga disebut secret beach. Pantai yang berada dibalik tebing kapur dan belum ada akses jalan untuk menuju pantai ini menjadi promadona mancanegara. Nama asli Pantai Pandawa adalah Pantai Melasti, sering diadakan upacara Melasti yang dilakukan tiap hari raya Nyepi bagi umat Hindu agar dapat mensucikan diri dari segala perbuatan buruk di masa lalu.

Pantai ini berpasir putih halus, bersih dan air lautnya sangat jernih, ombak yang tidak terlalu besar sangat tepat untuk bermain air ditepi pantai. Selama perjalanan mendekati Pantai Pandawa terdapat 1 Patung Dewi Kunti dari ibunda dari Ksatria Pandawa dan 5 Patung Ksatria Pandawa yang ada di dalam tebing kapur yaitu Patung Dharma Wangsa, Bima, Arjuna, Nakula dan Sahadewa yang diambil dari kisah Mahabarata.

Daya tarik utama Pantai Lovina adalah aktivitas melihat lumba-lumba di tengah laut. Untuk dapat melihat lumba-lumba harus berangkat ke tengah laut sebelum matahari terbit. Lumba–lumba akan datang di tengah laut antara jam 6 – 8 Pagi. Selain menyaksikan pertunjukan lumba-lumba, Pantai Lovina memiliki aktivitas menyelam untuk melihat Bioata laut yang beraneka ragam.

Monumen ini bentuk bagi pariwisata Bali di Indonesia dengan patung yang sangat terkenal. Patung Dewa Wisnu yang dalam agama Hindu adalah Dewa Pemelihara dengan mengendarai burung Garuda. Diambil dari kisah tokoh garuda mengenai rasa bakti dan pengorbanan burung Garuda untuk menyelamatkan ibunya dari perbudakan yang akhirnya dilindungi oleh Dewa Wisnu. Patung terbuat campuran tembaga dan baja dengan tinggi sekitar 75 meter dan lebar sekitar 60 meter.
