Baluran National Park

Indonesia has a wide grassland and the widest in Java Island is called Baluran National Park, East Java. The term is known as Africa Van Java as a natural conservation area that has native forest ecosystems on the island of Java. Consists of grass plants, mangrove forests, seasonal forests, coastal forests, lowland forests, swamp forests, and forests that are always green throughout the year.

Bekol is one the tourism places in Baluran National Park called Africa of Indonesia. When the dry season is very appropriate to come here because the trees and grass will dry yellow. To enjoy the view of Bekol, can go up to 64 meters high in the viewing post and can see the beautiful meadows of Bekol, Bama Beach and Mount Baluran can also be seen from a distance.

In the Baluran National Park there is a dense mangrove forest around Bama Beach. This forest type is located on the north and east coast of Baluran National Park area, such as in Bilik, Lambuyan, Mesigit, Sedano Cape and in Kelor. The short mangrove groves on the mud are in the Kelor and Bilik areas dominated by Avicenia sp, Bogen (Sonneratia spp), Rhizopra spp, Cantigi (Ceriops tagal) and Rhizopora Apiculata. The almost barren salty swamp comes from mangrove forests cleared away, in the North Pandean, Mesigit, West Chambers and several other places.

A white sand beach and clear water that is an exotic place behind Baluran National Park is Bama Beach. The surrounding ecosystem is still awake, thus supporting the life of the corals found around Bama Beach. The beach is still quiet with cleanliness and also with calm waves and clear sea water that is clean. Bama Beach is a beach that is still "virgin" for underwater lovers.

There are about 155 species of birds in the Baluran National Park and one of the rarest species is the Rangkong Bird (Buceros Rhinoceros) bird that has a large beak and it looks very unique. Towards this location very close from Bama Beach by foot there is a path that where this location is a lot of birds that perch. As we pass this path, we will watch the birds chirping sounds above the trees and echoes of distant sounds surrounding the forest.

Bilik Sijile Beach is a very quiet place and clean from pollution. This beach will look typical at the time of low tide and visible white sandy land shaped like a tongue, so called Sijile in Madurese language which means tongue. The coral reefs are still intact and various ornamental fish make underwater coastal scenery has been famous among many foreign tourists.

Bromo

Tengger mountain area is divided into 4 districts in East Java, these are: Probolinggo, Pasuruan, Lumajang, and Malang. The vast sea of sand in the mountains is surrounded by hills and valleys that stretch out as beautiful as the land above the clouds. Surrounding the Tengger mountains and tourist sites can only be done with Jeep vehicles that can climb with a slope of 70 degrees and passing in the desert like climbing the car Rally with a lot of agility.

Penanjakan Peak is a place to see the sunrise and enjoy the sunrise from a height of about 2.770 meters above sea level. The beauty at this peak when you can see into the Sand Sea, Bromo Crater, Hill and mountains around it from a height with the reflection of the sunrise. If the rainy season will be difficult to see the view down because of a very thick fog covering this mountain.

There are two alternatives to reach the foot of Mount Bromo Crater, the first people can walk with a little uphill for 15-20 minutes. The second people can rent a horse guided by the horse porters for 5 minutes until they arrive at the foot of the mountain crater Bromo.

Bromo Mountain Crater is still active with a height of about 2.392 meters above sea level. Incredible eruption 30 years ago in a row and became a huge crater lump. For the inhabitants of the Tengger tribe in Bromo region is believed to be the sacred mountain for their ritual place.

After people arrive at the foot of the mountain crater Bromo, people must climb by climbing the stairs one by one for 10 minutes with a slope of about 65 degrees. Bromo Crater stairs are made to facilitate the tourists to reach the lip of the crater of Bromo because it is quite steep.

Another name of Savanna is Teletubies Hill because it is surrounded by green hills and green grasses that decorate the Tengger mountains and look like hills in Teletubies Movie. Its location is behind the crater of Mount Bromo. If the dry season will be more beautiful overgrown with white weeds mixed with green from the hills.

A sea of sand from the remains of dry volcanic ash from the eruption of Mount Bromo. It was called whispered sand because the gusts of wind that hit the sand around it sounds very beautiful when the wind touches the sand.

A beautiful waterfall surrounded by hills and valleys that descend from the cliff wall makes this place very quiet. Toward this location by walking for 20 minutes down and across the river whose path is buried by a landslide and accompanied by a guide. When near the waterfall, people will feel water stubs that descend from the hill that looks like rain and creep into the cliff wall.

Upon arriving at the location, people will enjoy the swift of Madakaripura Waterfall that fell into the pool. Enjoying nature and the valley around people will feel the cool water from these mountains.
