Lombok

Lombok is located in West Nusa Tenggara, an interesting island to visit and many other beautiful small islands or small islands in Lombok called Gili. Foreign tourists call Lombok as “the second Bali”. Other than gili, beautiful beaches, stunning waterfalls and promontory, there is another beautiful place in Lombok called Mount Rinjani which is the highest mountain number 3 in Indonesia.

Senggigi Beach still feels natural and clean with its blue sea water. This beach atmosphere is greeted by the soft breeze that is soothing. Visitors can also fish on the edge of the coral beach. And coral reefs towering causing large waves breaks in the middle.

In Lombok there is a small temple located still in the area of Senggigi Beach called Batu Bolong Temple. Given the name Batu Bolong Temple because this temple is located on a coral that has a hole in the middle. This temple has an impression for Hindus to worship with the sound of waves pounding around the beach.

There are 2 temples on this coral, a temple located under a tree called Ratu Gede Mas Mecaling Temple. The other temple is located on top of a stone which is the main temple and is often called Batu Bolong Temple. Similar to Temples in Bali, visiting this temple should wear yellow cloth while in the temple to honor the temple as a place of sacred worship of Hindus. Several sculptures seen around the temple include Subali Statue, Sugriwa Statue, Rama Statue, Laksmana Statue and Dragon Statue.

Kuta Beach is not only in Bali, but in Lombok there is also a beautiful Kuta Beach. This beautiful beach has a stretch of clean sand also white. The sand is smooth like pepper, so this beach is also known as the Merica Beach. The wavy coastline with corals offers romantic and stunning scenery.

Aan Cape Beach, home of the Princess Mandalika. Aan Cape or Tanjung Aan is in one coastline with Kuta Beach. This beach directly facing the Indian Ocean and has a coastline of approximately 2 Miles. Aan Cape Beach is surrounded by several hills and tourist can easily hike the surrounding hills, so it will look more exotic viewing the scenery around the Aan Cape.

Central Lombok region in the south have many beautiful beaches, clean and still natural. One of them is Selong Belanak Beach which has the form of a semi-circle beach or like a horseshoe, as part of Selong Belanak Bay, this beach has an edge with a length of about 1 Mile and facing directly to the Indian Ocean. On top of that, the white sandy beach with a width of about 10 meters, calm waves and shallow sea.

Foreign tourists call Selong Belanak Beach similar to Hawaii Beach because of its natural shape and also the stalls on the edge of the beach that is still very traditional using thatch and bamboo.

Geographically, Bali Island has entered the territory of Nusa Tenggara. There are two temples in Tanah Lot that is located on the coral of Dang Kahyangan temple or Sea temple to worship the gods of the sea guard. Tanah Lot Beach has big waves, if the sea water is receding we can approach the coral that contain Luhur Temple and Sea Temple.

To the west of the Tanah lot there is Batu Bolong Temple which has the uniqueness of coral shape just standing on the edge of the sea. We can approach it to see the temple up close and stand right on this perforated coral.

In Bedugul there is the second largest lake on the Bali Island called Beratan Lake. Beratan Lake lies 1250 meters above sea level. highlands in the tourist area in Bedugul has a cool air and temperature between 17 ° - 25 ° Celsius. Decorated with hills surrounding this lake and on the shores of the lake there is a temple known as Ulun Danu temple.

In front of Ulun Danu Temple there is a sarcophagus and stone board, the stone comes from the megalithic age of about 500 BC. Beside Lake Beratan, there are twin lakes known as Buyan Lake and Tamblingan Lake which still includes in the tourism area of Bedugul.

Padang-Padang Beach began to be famous around 1996 since Michael Learns to Rock musical group took the filming location of one of his video clips. This beach is more famous through the movie 'Eat, Pray, Love' starring Hollywood actress Julia Roberts to shoot the movie here.

Uluwatu Temple is located at an altitude of about 100 meters above sea level with steep cliffs and high cliffs leading to the sea. Temple of Hindu believer as a buffer of the 9 points of the compass. In 1550 Uluwatu Temple was used as a place of worshiping a holy priest who ended his holy journey here and called Ngeluhur, so until now it is called Uluwatu Luhur Temple.

The uniqueness of Kecak Dance is a fusion of art from the sound of the mouth or shouts like "cak cak to cak cak" so this dance is called “Tari Kecak” (Kecak Dance).

A long time ago Taman Ayun Temple belongs to the Kingdom of Mengwi, until this day Taman Ayun Temple is a place to pray to god for Hindu people. According to Astadewata, the special god that is adored in this temple is a god in its manifestation of Lord Vishnu and at the top of Mount Mangu lies his palace. This temple is Paibon Temple or temple to worship Ancestors of Prati Sentana / heirs of the Kingdom of Mengwi.

The main attraction of Lovina Beach is the activity of seeing dolphins in the middle of the sea. To be able to see the dolphin’s tourist must leave for the sea before sunrise. The dolphins will come in the middle of the sea between the hours of 6 am - 8 am in the morning. beside watching the dolphin, Lovina Beach has diving activities to see the sea creatures

This monument is a form for Bali tourism in Indonesia with a very famous statue. The statue of Lord Vishnu in Hinduism religion is the God of the keeper riding a Garuda. Taken from the story of the Garuda figures about the sense of devotion and sacrifice of the Garuda to save his mother from slavery that finally protected by Lord Vishnu.
