
Lombok
Lombok is located in West Nusa Tenggara, an interesting island to visit and many other beautiful small islands or small islands in Lombok called Gili. Foreign tourists call Lombok as “the second Bali”. Other than gili, beautiful beaches, stunning waterfalls and promontory, there is another beautiful place in Lombok called Mount Rinjani which is the highest mountain number 3 in Indonesia.
Senggigi Beach still feels natural and clean with its blue sea water. This beach atmosphere is greeted by the soft breeze that is soothing. Visitors can also fish on the edge of the coral beach. And coral reefs towering causing large waves breaks in the middle.
Malimbu Hill as the canal of Senggigi Beach. From the top of a vast expanse of white sand and see the breathtaking scenery with the blue sea water. From the height of this hill is tourist can see clearly the 3 gilis. They are Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air.
In Lombok there is a small temple located still in the area of Senggigi Beach called Batu Bolong Temple. Given the name Batu Bolong Temple because this temple is located on a coral that has a hole in the middle. This temple has an impression for Hindus to worship with the sound of waves pounding around the beach.
There are 2 temples on this coral, a temple located under a tree called Ratu Gede Mas Mecaling Temple. The other temple is located on top of a stone which is the main temple and is often called Batu Bolong Temple. Similar to Temples in Bali, visiting this temple should wear yellow cloth while in the temple to honor the temple as a place of sacred worship of Hindus. Several sculptures seen around the temple include Subali Statue, Sugriwa Statue, Rama Statue, Laksmana Statue and Dragon Statue.
Aan Cape Beach, home of the Princess Mandalika. Aan Cape or Tanjung Aan is in one coastline with Kuta Beach. This beach directly facing the Indian Ocean and has a coastline of approximately 2 Miles. Aan Cape Beach is surrounded by several hills and tourist can easily hike the surrounding hills, so it will look more exotic viewing the scenery around the Aan Cape.
Central Lombok region in the south have many beautiful beaches, clean and still natural. One of them is Selong Belanak Beach which has the form of a semi-circle beach or like a horseshoe, as part of Selong Belanak Bay, this beach has an edge with a length of about 1 Mile and facing directly to the Indian Ocean. On top of that, the white sandy beach with a width of about 10 meters, calm waves and shallow sea.
Foreign tourists call Selong Belanak Beach similar to Hawaii Beach because of its natural shape and also the stalls on the edge of the beach that is still very traditional using thatch and bamboo.
