Sawarna
Sawarna Village is in Lebak District, Banten Province. The beauty of Sawarna Village is widely known by local tourists as well as foreign tourists. There are various kinds of exciting tourism places such as Beach with white sand and unique coral beach surrounded by hills leading to directly to the sea. The big waves that hit the rocks become the attraction of photographer lovers to come to this area. Also, in the Sawarna Village there are also some caves that can be visited.
Tanjung Layar Beach is a main destination that should not be missed when visiting Sawarna Village. This beach is very unique with the rock-shaped like a high boat display to look dashing and charming. In the afternoon a great time to visit this beach while waiting for the sunset behind this rock.
Karang Bereum Beach is interesting to see the sunrise decorated from backdrop of the hill and the sea as the sun rises to the sky. The beach is very quiet and silent with the shape of a striped coral like a moat of water. Sometimes there are fishes that are stranded in the reefs because of the low tide, because of it the fish cannot go back to the sea.
Pari Lagoon or called by the locals “Laguna Pari”. The shape of the beach is like a horseshoe fill with white sand, clean sea water and the tide waves is not big. It is perfect for playing water on the beach. This beach location adjacent to the Karang Bereum Beach, to reach this beach is easy by hiking Kalong Dune that is adorned with grass and trees and stunning views from the top position when viewing this beach from this height.
Karang Taraje Beach is one of the unique beaches of the many beaches in the village of Sawarna. The elongated coral is on the beach to break the waves that resemble a ladder with a height of ± 3 meters. The waves that hit the reef create beautiful scenery like mini niagara waterfalls, because the sea water that flows over the reef almost covers the entire coral until the sea water runs out and goes down.
Ciantir Beach is one of many beaches in Sawarna Village that is interesting, because it has clean and beautiful white sand. Visitors still need to be careful to play in the water because the waves are big. Around the beach there is a sea-facing lodge with green hillsides, a gentle beach for beach activities and there are hut for merchant shop to relax.
It was called Pulo Manuk because many birds come from various countries to stop by in this island. Other than that, there are wild monkeys that can be found on the Pulo Manuk Beach because it is adjacent to the forest area owned by “Perhutani”.
In Lalay Cave there are bats that perched on the stalactite in the cave. The depth of the cave is about 10 milles, can be reached by foot. There are puddles and clay the road is very slippery. The air in this cave is damp and the smell is so stingy from the bat droppings. As the name implies, it was named Lalay Cave because it comes from the word Lalay means Bats. Usually a bunch of bats began to come out at dusk around 5 pm.
